Tokyo, Japan, February 3, 2014 – The FOR-A Group was recently honored as a recipient of the 2013 Technology & Engineering Emmy® Awards from the National Academy of Television Art & Sciences (NATAS). The prestigious award recognizes excellence and innovation in technology and engineering, and was given to FOR-A YEM Eletex Co., Ltd., a FOR-A group company, for the development, standardization and productization of the HD serial digital interface. The NATAS 65th annual Technology & Engineering Emmy Awards were presented at the 2014 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas on January 9th.
FOR-A’s Northeast Account Manager, Jay Shinn, accepts the NATAS Technology & Engineering Emmy award on behalf of FOR-A YEM Eletex.
The high definition serial digital interface technology recognized by NATAS has become the backbone of modern production, post-production and broadcast facilities.
